About

Hi, I’m Ana

In 1998, I started my art career at 17 as a caricature artist working for Kaman’s Art Shops at Sea World (Orlando, FL). With an outdoor paint easel, some Prismacolor color sticks, and a Design Markers set, I hustled folks of all walks of life to sit down and enjoy a joke, a smile and rewarded them with a humorous sketch of themselves in the middle of their theme park experience. Those humble beginnings taught me a lot about engaging with people, operating a business, the subconscious value of art, and delivering a joyous experience to clients within a very tight deadline.

Since then, I have developed my traditional art skills and made the transition into a digital medium, sequential arts, animation, and other multimedia outlets to keep up with our ever-changing industry. Along the way, I have also developed a passion for marketing, UX Design, and UX research.

After 20+ years, some folks see me as an expert, but I always tell them I still consider myself a student in this industry. I’m always hungry for growth, and always willing to learn something new, and I’m not ashamed to go back and revise my techniques to improve myself, my team and create great outstanding work.
